First of all, we recommend that you download the latest official version, because in the previous public beta process, we did find that the rotation angle in 180-degree mode exceeded the expected range. This problem has been fixed in the latest version.
In the ASIAIR application, CAA supports showing the camera angle to users, which is consistent with the field of view frame in the star map. The original intention of this design is to facilitate user composition and better adapt to plan shooting needs. In this way, users can set specific camera angles according to different observation targets. After switching targets, CAA can automatically rotate the camera to the preset angle.
It is worth noting that the conversion logic between camera angle and mechanical angle is relatively complex, which involves factors such as whether the image is mirrored and the position limit of the device. In 180-degree mode, our design ensures that when you set a target angle, the actual rotation of the camera to reach the target angle will not exceed 180 degrees. This means that the system may directly rotate the camera to the set target angle, or rotate it to an equivalent angle (for example, 180 degrees different) according to the actual situation to ensure the most effective angle adjustment and avoid unnecessary large-scale rotation.
From your video, it seems that your device combination causes the image to be mirrored. Since CAA is turned on inverse, the rotation direction is opposite to what you expected.
