Celestron CPC

Skusal som dve rozne HC s dvoma roznymi firmware, dokonca s dvoma roznymi montazami (NexStar 6/8 a CPC) a nic.
Ak mate niekto dobre nervy a cas, mozete to skusit tiez; ja som nepochodil. Chlapec vobec nepocuval moje argumenty a len hladal sposob, ako ten ticket zavriet. Kazda jeho odpoved trvala minimalne jeden den. Proste komedia.
JA: [#PUL-455742]: NexStar HC upgrade does not work under Windows Vista & 7
CELESTRON: Please use the latest versions found here: http://www.celestron.com/c3/downloads.php
JA: Thank you for your reply. I DID use the latest version and it does not work. Please reopen my ticket.
CELESTRON: That version has been successfully used for these new OS. What number of COM paort are you using?
JA: I used a generic PL2303 USB-to-serial bridge with which I was able to perform motor upgrade but not hand control upgrade. I tried two several USB ports to which serial ports were mapped (COM9, COM10, COM4) on two different computers with two different OS versions (Vista 32-bit and Win7 64-bit). The hand control upgrade utility does not even "know" there is a hand control connected. Any ideas? I have used the following pieces of HW: Lenovo N500 with Vista 32-bit and HP 8440p with Win7 64-bit.
CELESTRON: Please see this article: http://www.celestron.com/c3/support3/in ... cleid=2374
JA: Well, to be honest, that article does not say much. If a COM port was the problem, how would you then explain the COM port works with a motor upgrade utility but the same port does not work with a hand control upgrade utility? I also tried to use multiple COM ports but none of them worked...
CELESTRON: It sounds like a problem with the HC itself. Have you tried flashing it while it's plugged into the AUX port?
JA: As I said earlier, I tried two different HCs with two different firmware revisions with two different mounts (NexStar 6/8 & CPC) but none of them worked, though I successfully upgraded one of the mentioned HCs under WinXP in the past. I used the port on the HC for upgrading. Upgrade of motors worked; upgrade of HC did not. I believe there is some bug in the HC upgrade utility or a combination of more problems.
CELESTRON: It still sounds like the HC is the issue. We recommend contacting your dealer for service.
