Vážení, koho zajímá skutečná podstata jevů / objektů na obloze, ať už stelárních, difůzních či extragalaktických, nezbytně musí v pozorování jít dál a to - ke spektroskopii. Nyní se otevřela možnost pro amatérské astronomy - kolegové ve Francii budou vyrábět a prodávat spektrograf "Lhires III KIT". Spektrograf slouží pro pořizování spekter s vysokým rozlišením a je možné u něj polohovat mřížku, čili volit rozsah vlnových délek! Cena je 1200 Euro!

Hello,
A great team work among few amateurs is now bringing Lhires III kit for
you.
Lhires III is a high resolution spectrograph designed for f/10+ telescopes
(for other focal ratio, check you can adapt your focal while having enough
focus on the slit). You can adapt Audine, ST7/ST8, reflex camera, and even
eye piece on a Lhires III. Other camera should be easy to adapt, eventually
through a home made adapter.
With a KAF400 chip, spectra have a typical dispersion of 0.12A/pixel and
are
80A wide. At f/10, resolution is 17000. Tests have been done with typical
amateur telescope: refractors, 8"-14" schmidt-cassegrains... A slit
monitoring system (using webcam or video camera of your own) will allow
long
exposure for better noise/signal ratio.
Lhires III is a great educational tool to discover spectroscopy and
astrophysics. Characteristics open the door to true scientifical studies.
While it has been designed for high-resolution, optional gratings can
easily
transform it to adapt the spectrograph to studied objects. It can even
record monochromatic pictures of the Sun! Lhires III is the most powerful
spectrograph available for the amateur community... and still its price (at
cost) is competitive!
Subscription is now open for member of the french non-profit association
AUDE. This is the same one that designed the Audine CCD camera! This Lhires
III kit, to assemble yourself in few hours only, will cost you 1200 Euros.
